SERP (Search Engine Results Pages)

December 22,2010 in Glossary | No Comments

Definition:

SERP is linked with a page of search engine listing, normally the organic result of the First page.

Information:

Webmaster forums generally carry this acronym in which typing the long-form is too time-consuming. This is normally connected with a site’s listing on the first page of organic search results.

SERP is a common term used in the SEO niche and by Webmaster platforms. In the technical field, SERP signifies all search results after a search entry. Yet, SEM and SEO professionals employ the terminology to refer to the first page of the search results. Furthermore, the term normally refers to organic search results.
