Rectangle Ad

Definition:

Recommended by the IAB, these are the big, rectangular-shaped banner formats.

Information:

Particularly, the recent rectangular-shaped ad formats comprise:

  • 300 x 250 IMU (Medium Rectangle)
  • 250 x 250 IMU (Square Pop-up)
  • 240 x 400 IMU (Vertical Rectangle)
  • 336 x 280 IMU (Large Rectangle)
  • 180 x 150 IMU (Rectangle)

Strictly, all banner and button advertisements come in rectangular shapes. They are not spherical. It’s just that the name has been given to the above five recent ad formats by convention.
