Frame

Definition:

Frame refers to the composition that permits the division of the Web page; into two or more than two autonomous sections.

Information:

The use of a frame includes directing one or more portions of a Web page as static while users scroll or load the other parts of the Web page. Advantages comprise quicker loading of the Web page and the capacity for making the navigation bar visible on the apparent portion of the page.

Several advanced Web browsers sustain frames. Browser maintenance is merely a complication, although frames do offer some problems that Web designers should keep in mind. For example, Frames conceal several different pages in a single URL, hence dividing the URL composition. Site users may face challenges when bookmarking the pages they require. The complication for direct entrance to a specific page can dissuade linking through other sites and transferring them via email. Frames also offer a predicament for enhancing a Web site for search engines.
